For the environment
When we produce our Algaink™ and Algadye™, we’re saving 98% water and 70-74% greenhouse gas emissions compared to the production of conventional dyes and inks. This refers to our own production process, which includes how we source our pesticide-free algae, and convert this super microorganism into colors through our patented process.

For the manufacturer
In addition to the reduction in water use and greenhouse gas emissions when we make our colors, when manufacturers use Algadye™ and Algaink™ in their own processes, they save water and reduce greenhouse gas emissions as well.
Manufacturers reduce the use of water between 45.8-73.7%, and reduce 21.2-46.99% greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional dyes and inks.

Our clean colors reduce the use of toxic chemicals all across the supply chain.
Clean Water
Not only do we reduce the use of water during our own production and when manufacturers use our products, but we also prevent water pollution.
When dyeing fabrics with Algadye™, the dye uptake is exceptionally high—the outcome is clear: clean water at the end of the dyeing process. Not only does this prevent water pollution, but it could also potentially offer algae-powered water as a byproduct that can be used in other industries.

Worker Safety
In conventional dyeing manufacturing, the workforce may be exposed to hazardous chemicals through inhalation and skin contact. Our colors are bisphenol free, pesticide free, and do not contain any harmful chemicals.
Land Use
State of the art agritech and innovative farming methods means we’re sourcing algae from areas that are harder to populate or grow food, reducing the use of traditional land. With these innovative farming methods, there is no need for pesticides.
